Credit unions and CO-OP reconnect at CUNA GAC 2022

February 7, 2022 Co-op Solutions

So much has changed in the two years since the credit union industry gathered in Washington, DC, for CUNA’s last Governmental Affairs Conference in 2020. Payments—and how, when, where and in what form we use our cards–have changed. Member expectations have changed. The imperatives around digital transformation have changed.

We’ve changed.

“The past few years have tested our collective endurance, but they’ve also revealed new capacities for growth,” says CO-OP Chief Experience Officer, Samantha Paxson. “Not only have we learned a lot about what members need from their primary financial relationships, but we’ve also worked with our partner credit unions to meet those needs—even as the pace of change has gone from evolution to revolution.”

“This has been an exceptional time. We’ve all been through so much, but we’ve gained a lifetime’s worth of progress and insight,” says CO-OP President/CEO Todd Clark. “GAC 2022 will be the industry’s opportunity to reconnect and regroup as we move forward.”
