Check Out the Big Send Off for CO-OP’s Stan Hollen

May 12, 2016 CO-OP Financial Services

This month, CO-OP THINK salutes President and CEO Stan Hollen, who is retiring at the end of May after 11 remarkable years of growth and transformation at CO-OP and 45 years of leadership in the credit union industry. Doug Ferraro, Chairman of the Board of CO-OP, and President/CEO of Bellco Credit Union in Greenwood Village, Colo., called Stan a “true giant” of the credit union movement.

The Credit Union Times created the infographic below, showing the many credit union CEOs Stan has mentored over the years. What the infographic does not show are the legions of executives in other positions whose careers Stan helped launch or encourage, nor the hundreds of employees at CO-OP who have thrived under his leadership over the last decade-plus.

Six Degrees of Stan Hollen's Leadership Legacy

Throwing the full weight of CO-OP behind a little project called THINK nine years ago is but one example of Stan’s willingness to innovate for the good of the movement. “This is another way we give back to our shareholders,” Stan told CU Broadcast’s Mike Lawson during THINK 16.

Thank you, Stan, for everything. We’ll save you a seat at THINK 17.
