Co-op THINK 23 Speaker Spotlight: Steve Wunker

March 8, 2023

Co-op’s THINK events are renowned for bringing together thought leaders and changemakers from the financial services industry and beyond to inform and inspire credit unions. Our newest THINK 23 speaker Steve Wunker is no different.

Wunker has always had bold ideas and creative ways of bringing them to life. In the nineties, he led the team that developed one of the world’s first smartphones and has led growth across multiple entrepreneurial ventures ever since.

As the Managing Director of New Markets Advisors, Wunker advises companies across industries, including Barclays, First National Bank of Omaha, Progressive Insurance, and Microsoft. Founded in 2009, Wunker has built his boutique business from the ground up, and he now advises companies around the globe. He also spent several years consulting at Bain & Company.

Wunker is also a prolific writer and thought leader in the space and has written three award-winning books. He has written over 100 columns for Forbes, as well as for other publications such as Harvard Business Review and The Financial Times.

He’ll speak about his latest book, Costovation: Innovation That Gives Your Customers Exactly What They Want & Nothing More, at this year’s THINK 23 conference. Tying into the Invisible Revolution theme, he’ll discuss how innovation and cost efficiency can work in tandem to revolutionize business models and customer experiences.

To hear Steve Wunker speak, among many other exciting leaders in their fields, join us at THINK 23 on May 2–4, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona. Be a part of the premier credit union conversation with big-picture breakout sessions, tactical workshops, and insights from original research.
